I do have a passion for ice-coffee. And if the beans are roasted by the owner of the place and they do have almondmilk I am practically in heaven and want to move in.
Almondmilk seems to be more common in Ecuador than soya milk and there are a couple of places who make it themselves. This place in Cuenca roasts coffeebeans themselves, medium or darkroast, depending on the day and the beans. The coffee is not cheap for Ecuadorian standards, but really tasty!
And as usual, there is a bit of chocolate at the very bottom of my coffee.
I will always remember Ecuador as the perfect combination of coffee and chocolate. And if the coffee was just not that good, the chocolate made it better 😉 – which was not the case here though!
This is the place in Cuenca for coffee and even if you don’t like coffee, have their huevos rancheros for breakfast instead or try their cake!
